1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Caseload Compass and Assessment Atlas, a web application that helps you create personal Google Sheet copies of educational planning templates. By using the application, you agree to these terms.
2. What the application does
The application signs you in with Google, temporarily grants your Google account access to a source template when needed, opens Google Picker so you can select the template, and creates a copy in your Google Drive. After the copy operation, the application attempts to remove the temporary access to the original source template.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use the copied spreadsheet, including any student, school, assessment, IEP, or other sensitive information you choose to enter into your own Google Sheet. You are also responsible for complying with policies, laws, and professional obligations that apply to your school, district, organization, or role.
4. Google services
The application depends on Google sign-in, Google Picker, Google Drive, and Google Sheets. Your use of those services is also governed by Google's own terms and policies. The application cannot control Google account availability, Google Drive permissions, Google API behavior, or the contents of your Google Drive.
5. No professional advice
The templates are organizational tools. They do not provide legal, clinical, educational, compliance, or professional advice. You should independently verify deadlines, requirements, and decisions before relying on information in a copied spreadsheet.
6. Availability and changes
The application is provided as available. It may be changed, interrupted, limited, or discontinued at any time. Features may depend on correct configuration, Google API availability, and third-party infrastructure.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the application, attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with its operation, use it to violate laws or policies, or attempt to access templates, files, accounts, or systems that you are not authorized to access.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the application operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, interruption of service, or decisions made using a copied spreadsheet.
